My experience learning English

 

My experience learning English in the university has been very good, the truth is that I was lucky enough to be in a school where they taught good English and thanks to that it has not been difficult for me to learn in the university. English is a very beautiful and necessary language for life in general, since it is the language that helps us communicate with people from other countries.

I particularly like writing blogs because I practice my vocabulary and grammar, which for me is the hardest part, because if someone speaks to me in English I understand 90% of what they want to say.

I must improve my vocabulary, learning new words is not difficult, in fact, I learn quickly with pictures, but the vocabulary has always been my weakness. I never use English outside of class, except to watch series and movies, but with subtitles. I think that also helped me a lot, watching the movies, series, listening to songs and seeing some pages in English. It has also helped me a lot to see movies that I can remember or that I have seen before in Spanish, to see them again in English and to make the connection of words.

 In the past I made the mistake of writing or thinking a sentence in Spanish and then traslate to english, now I think about it in English and it is much easier, obviously because I also know more about the language.

In conclusion, I had a great time in this English course and learned a lot from the activities in class and the blogs on different topics.
